NBC Group has developed the DECONTAINER™ as the latest advancement in emergency decontamination units. The DECONTAINER® is the first of its kind manufactured for the NHS and was developed in partnership with Acute Trusts across the UK.

This new technology has already been delivered to 16 Hospitals across Scotland, with additional and bespoke units delivered across a variety of Trusts in England and Wales..

Design - Essentially the system has three defined compartments; disrobe area, wet decontamination area and a re-robe or check area. Each is designed for ease of use, patient modesty, speed of deploy, and minimal training. Additional options include alarm systems, casualty seating, comfort flooring and semi-permanent waste collection areas.

With a 10 year life expectancy, the units are a truly cost effective alternative to traditional soft wall decontamination shelters.
